It is important that as we walk with God, we walk as true believers. We cannot walk with God as skeptics and doubters. Our belief must be real and authentic. We must know that we know. We are not guessing about God or His power. We believe, live and trust in His power. We may never know some things about God, but we must believe that God is a rewarder of all who diligently seek Him. Our belief must be paramount in our daily walk with Him. Today’s scripture lesson is Ephesians 1:12:

“God’s purpose was that we Jews who were the first to trust in Christ would bring praise and glory to God.” In this passage, we read of the importance of spiritual blessings. God has revealed to His people, the mysteries regarding Christ, which reveal His own good plans. In everything He does, it all works according to His will. The people of God ought to believe that all things work together for the good, and to know that God is working on our behalf. We have a responsibility to believe that our faith will bring glory and honor to Him. That is what the scripture indicates in this verse, that those who trust in Him will bring Him praise and glory. We witness to others as we put our faith and trust in Him. Others will be led to Him as they see us stand on His Word, trusting and depending upon Him. Can you say today, “Lord, I believe! I know that you are able and willing to bring me through whatever life may bring my way. I believe you have all power. I believe that even when I die, I will receive eternal life because of my faith and trust in you.”
