BECOMING A WHOLE PERSON
A whole person! That is something that many of us wrestle with. How does our mind and body connect so that we are not fragmented? Sometimes that causes us pain. We find ourselves at times struggling to maintain balance. We need God to make us whole so that we can live lives that align with and for Him.
In Romans 12:2, we find these words:
“Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.”
Paul writes to the people in hopes that they might present themselves as living sacrifices to God. He speaks to the people about not copying the behavior and customs of the world, but allowing God to transform their minds. He advises them to live a life
that is pleasing unto God, also advising them to seek to live a life of humility and love for themselves and each other in order to become a whole person. When you get a chance read this entire chapter. I pray on this day that we are all seeking to live a life that is pleasing and acceptable unto God. Moreover, I pray in the name of Jesus, that we have each discovered how to live a life that gives glory and honor to God, and that we are each taking steps towards becoming a whole person.
