I am always amazed at people who say, “The Lord has already done enough for me.” I thank God for what He has done for me, but I need God to do something new for me every day! I need His mercy; I need His love. I need His strength. I need His protection. I need His forgiveness; I need God to do something new every day! I need God to teach me something new. I have not discovered all of God’s ways, because His ways are not our ways, our thought are not His thoughts. I am truly grateful for what I know about God, but I want to know more! I want to learn from Him so that my life can be fully enhanced by His. My prayer is that each of you want the same as me. In Jeremiah 33:3, we find these words:

“Ask me and I will tell you remarkable secrets you do not know about things to come.”

In this moving passage of scripture, the Lord is speaking to Jeremiah, telling him that He is going to do something new. The Lord, God makes Himself known in a mighty way to His servant. The Lord wants to bring back those who lost interest in the future of Jerusalem because the sound of joy is missing. Therefore, He wanted Jeremiah to tell the people that He is going to restore prosperity in their land, and He will teach them some new things. When you get a chance, read this entire chapter. Discover for yourself new things about the Lord. He is great and greatly to be praised!
