A BETTER DAY IS COMING
We should have something to look forward to each day. There will be tough times, but we need to always remember that a better day is coming. We may find ourselves down in the valley because of the darkness and gloom of the day, but we should let our faith and trust in God encourage us, knowing that He’s about to do a new thing. And because of that faith, we should know, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that God’s tomorrow will be better than today. Into each life some rain must fall, but the “sun” as well as the “Son” will shine, after a while. No matter what you are going through, know that it shall pass. I pray right now, as you read this devotion, that you are confident, as I, that a better day is coming! In Revelation 21:4, we find these words:
He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever.
The writer speaks about what will happen when we get to heaven, but we should anticipate a new day every day! He will make all things new. Look up and live! Know that God has the power to see you through. There is a new day coming! When we all get to heaven there will be no more tears. But while
on this earth, we know that God still reigns, and He will provide us a brighter, better day!
